Over the past few weeks I’ve been practicing during the slither of time I can carve out between putting Remy down for her nap and finishing chores. Being a stay at home mummy and trying to launch my photography career, I gots to get practice in whenever I can!
Here’s a collection of images I took of an afternoon tea of messy left over (all be it delicious) black forest pavlova with espresso cream. For this shoot I wanted to create a light and bright feel by using soft fabrics, side lighting and reflectors. The light I got that day was gorgeous.
The following shoot is the stark opposite using dark wood, back lighting and shadows to create a moody vibe which I thought matched the subject well. I got to use the beautiful little tea mugs gifted to me by a sweet friend.
