A perfectly sweet and sour rosewater martini that would be perfect to kick off any special night!
Recipe for Rosewater Martini by Anisa Sabet for The Macadames.
I shot today’s recipe madly before we had friends over. It’s always the shoots I cram in between cooking and setting the table that I end up loving the most. Nevermind that sometimes I spend an entire day painstakingly planning a shoot and then it ends up on the cutting room floor. Funny hey?
The light this day was silvery and just a little bit harsh which created these lovely shadows and cool tones. I love the way backlight brings drinks to life, making them them ethereal.
The recipe is for a simple vodka martini infused with rosewater and lemon juice, the flavour combination creates a beautifully sweet-tart cocktail that everyone will love. You could also add lychee syrup instead of lemon juice, but I prefer the tartness of the citrus. What is your favourite martini? My favourite at the moment is a gin martini with cointreau and a (few) blue cheese stuffed olives. Yummmmmmmmmmmm.
I hope you enjoy this recipe and i’d love to know what you think.
