  • What I am so excited about this autumn: the baking (in my new kitchen hopefully!!!) (and allll the mulled wine after bebe 🍷🍷). • • Today I want to talk about life after kids. Do you struggle with trying to maintain a social life after having kids? Do you even want to? Is the idea of a night out the last thing you want after wrangling kids all day? I get that. I value my freedom so much so I’m always leaning on family and paid babysitters so I can still go out, work & live my life the way I want to. We go on short trips without Remy & plan to do so where possible with 2 kids. It isn’t for everyone but that’s what I need. • • I probably get asked once a week “where is your daughter?” When i post a Story about being out etc. Shes too old to take anywhere remotely adult friendly & too young to keep out past 7 so leaving her with a sitter works for us. • • I do expect the judgement, as people judge, but I was wondering, does it go the other way? Do you feel judged for saying no to be at home with your kids by choice? Do you want to do more but don’t have the support? I’m guilty of the eyeroll when a friend bales because they’re too tired to meet me for dinner - which is totes unfair because what works for me / you, won’t work for everyone else and there’s no place for judgi-ness in life. • • I’d love to know your thoughts on the issue. Everyone scrambles through the baby / toddler / kid stage the best way they can and there’s no right or wrong way. Although slightly terrified of dogs, I spent the afternoon canoodling with boisterous doggies & the lovely staff.   • That’s a wrap. Car is packed for the last time this week (thank the holy lordy for that!!!!). Was so nice meeting the beautiful guests today (tagged here). @thefitfoodieblog & I covered SO much ground even my head was spinning.
